The new appointment for "The Piano Hour Series" presents a unique opportunity to approach the world of Antonello Vannucchi, a true champion of Italian music, which from the beginning, in one of the first jazz groups to relief, he said next to people like Ennio Morricone, Mina, Ornella Vanoni, for mention only the most popular. Hour The Piano Series presents the ways and trends of different actors on the keyboard, in a constant succession of music, from Tuscany to the international scene, from artists associated with jazz, rock, looking at the song, which will present creations specially for the series of concerts. two soloists take turns at the piano in two separate performances. The Piano Hour Series is designed by the musician, producer and journalist Ernesto de Pascale and the Concentus Musicus.
Antonello Vannucchi:
Antonello Vannucchi, musician, arranger, composer, director. In the '60s, as a vibraphonist, Vannucchi was among the members of one of the first groups critical of Italian jazz, the quintet and quartet of Lucca. He was a member of the Orchestra of the RAI in Rome, as a pianist, accompanying all the most famous singers who appeared on television shows like Mina and Ornella Vanoni, and this time he began work as a composer of music for TV and cinema.
Then he started playing the Hammond organ in the C3 group MARC4 to collaborate with the most prestigious authors of soundtracks: Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Armando Trovajoli, Gianni Ferrio, Piero Piccioni, Piero Humiliated, Alessandro Alessandroni.
His jazz collaborations have seen him next to Lionel Hampton, Lee Konitz, Toots Thielemans, Freddie Hubbard, Sonny Rollins, Joe Newman, Art Farmer, Chet Baker. With this background
Vannucchi Hall is expected to go for a piano solo in thickness, in which the many moments of his career will contribute to a passionate musical story.
Roberto Andreucci:
